PRÉSENTATION PRINCIPALE : The Future of Additive Manufacturing
L’interprétation simultanée sera disponible pour toutes les présentations principales, les présentations spéciales et les conférences.
Additive manufacturing (AM) and 3D printing are poised to change how countless companies design and produce products worldwide. The technology can improve product performance, reduce material and weight, and enhance aesthetics. Applications of AM in the aerospace, medical, energy, automotive, and consumer products industries are very persuasive. Even so, the AM industry must overcome challenges. Costs associated with design for AM, equipment, materials, post-processing, and inspection have slowed adoption.
Wohlers will underscore the vast opportunities and successes provided by AM, while describing key hurdles that need to be overcome.
